Duromarine - Phenol Bonded Marine Plywood

Salty winds, rough seas and high humidity -
these are just some of the vagaries a ship has to withstand while sailing. We at Sarda feel that the mariners should not be let down by some low grade, defective plywood. This could spell doom for all on board the vessel. After years of research and rigorous testing, we have evolved a plywood, which has the highest dimensional stability and is all weather proof.

Duromarine from the house of Sarda is the ultimate choice in Marine plywood. This brand of Marine Plywood carries 50 years of cumulative experience and know-how. Both the Cross core and Panel core are made from Duromarine's extra thick, strong hardwood veneers are bonded with unextended Phenol Formaldehyde Resin. Close watch and care is given during

cross-graining and Phenol bonding, thus ensuring its remarkable intensive and intrinsic strength. It is chemically treated with permanent preservatives through vacuum pressure impregnation and adheres to IS 710-1976. It is totally resistant to fungi, termites, marine borers and other wood destroying organisms.

Duromarine is extensively used in the ship building industry, for constructing barges, lifeboats, ship cabins, sauna bath compartments and other light marine crafts. Further, as woodwork in kitchens, bathrooms, panel inserts, exposed cabins, partitions and much more.
